Splash Kingdom Water Park, Canton Texas

image1445953564.jpgWe went to Splash Kingdom today with our 1 year old son and our niece and nephews. Everyone had fun and I enjoyed how they encourage a family environment and have Christian music playing on the outdoor speakers. The lazy river and wave pool are just as good as Wet n Wild but less crowded. The castle island area is perfect for 1 – 8 year olds.

Maggies Burgers, Shakes, and More

image1433902945.jpgWe ate at Maggie’s Burgers and Shakes on the way back from Splash Kingdom Waterpark in Canton. Maggie’s is in Edom on hwy 64 right before you get into Tyler. Their burgers were great and they make their shakes with blue bell icecream. Very good place to visit as they are located in a unique log wood house. It is one of those fun nearby things to do if you live in the East Texas area. This is right on the way back from Splash Kingdom if you are driving back to Tyler from there as well.

John Adam and Evangeline Watching The Movie Up

image874330687.jpgThe animated movie Up was actually really good. It was John Adam’s first time sitting in a theater seat through a movie. Him and Evangeline sat together and they both liked it.

On Our Way Back from New York

image1454705384.jpgWe had a great time in New York city and ran into a few random but fun things to do here without planning in advance. The citysearch tour on the double decker bus let us canvus the whole city and narrow down where we wanted to go. We didn’t walk the Brooklyn Bridge or boat out to the statue of liberty but we will do that next time.

John Adam and Evangeline on the hammock

image369806071.jpgCal put up the hammock he bought in Mexico today. I hope there isn’t any cocaine dust on it from the Mexican drug cartels. You know how the Mexican drug scene is these days? Burn.

At a Cornerstone Financial Talk

image1903834427.jpgThis is an investment group that my dad invited me to. I have heard them on Christian radio stations before. They have some good advice and they don’t have any high pressure tactics.

The Blinking Lights

image478175189.jpgWe live down the road where the blinking lights are next to the airport. That’s FM 724. Go a few miles, then down the hill. Now you are getting near the Eisenbach family. We live out in the country and it’s pretty nice with the cows, and lamas and stray dogs. I am not sure why our neighbors have lamas but they are fun to have around. The only bad thing is poor Internet connectivity and choice unless you want to pay for a T1 line for $350 a month.

Today we will be celebrating Hannah and Raymond’s birthdays. It is supposed to get down to 28 degrees tonight. That’s too cold!
